If you prefer, you can use DelSysFiles.cmd - just drag-and-drop a volume letter onto the DelSysFiles.cmd batch file or run it from the command line - e.g. DelSysFiles  H:

To create DelSysFiles.cmd then copy the below text a notepad and save it with ".cmd" .

Switch Off The Thumbs.db Image Cache File in Windows

Thumbs.db is an image cache which makes thumbnail viewing faster. The file is automatically created in Windows Vista, 7 and 8 whenever images are encountered in a folder. It’s usually hidden but can appear, disappear and is often impossible to delete.
Fortunately, there’s an easy way to prevent further Thumbs.db hassle:
  • Ensure you’re logged in using an administrator account.
  • Hit Win+R, type gpedit.msc in the Run window and click OK. The Local Group Policy Editor will be launched.
  • Navigate through the tree to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > then either Windows Explorer (Windows Vista/7) or File Explorer (Windows 8).

  • In the right-hand pane, double-click “Turn off the caching of thumbnails in hidden thumbs.db files”.
  • Select Enabled (don’t make my mistake of choosing “Disabled” — you’re enabling the switching off of Thumbs.db. Not particularly intuitive, Microsoft!)

OK your way out and it’s job done — you’ll never be troubled by Thumbs.db files ever again!

"Can't Establish A Reliable Connection To The Server" [Fix]

1. ROOT your device (of course)

2. Editing the file
You will need a proper editor
Download and Install Total Commander and open it
OR DOWNLOAD BELOW

3. Browse with Total Commander to root/etc
(hint: on the right side of the screen there's a shortcut to system folder.. look for etc/ and you will find it)
Tap mount R/W
Long tap on "hosts" > edit file > Totalcmd-Editor

Open etc/hosts and edit the file. Just put # before 74.125.93.113 android.clients.google.com.

4. SAVED

Edited file should look like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost
#74.125.93.113 android.clients.google.com

remember: based on my own observation it should be look like this:

127.0.0.1(just one space)localhost
#74.125.93.113(just one space)android.clients.google.com

5. Turn OFF your device.
6.(Not Necessary, Go to Next Step. But if the problem persist do Factory Reset..) Got it on Recovery Mode, Factory Data Reset, wipe data.
7. Reboot your device.
8. Once the phone reboots, input your google account information when the phone asks for it.
9. Sync to your account and contacts

Alternative Way

1. ROOT your device (of course).

2. Instead of editing the host file Delete the file.

3. I would prefer you to use Es File Explorer as Total Commander didn't delete the file properly.

Long tap on "hosts" > delete.

5. Turn OFF your device.
7. Reboot your device.
8. Once the phone reboots, input your google account information when the phone asks for it.
9. Sync to your account and contacts
